During his schooling, he interned with Cherokee Nation, focusing on diabetic eye care. He also interned in a glaucoma specialty, indigent care, and dry eye specialty clinics while in Houston, TX. Dr. Heather Kern is a Licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Certified Glaucoma Specialist. During her schooling, she interned with a leading glaucoma researcher. She also interned in a medically based practice with a dry eye emphasis.
