Ingram was the class Valedictorian of Andrews High School in Andrews, Texas. He attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and graduated Summa Cum Laude before attending Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. After graduation in 1986, he chose a career in Eye Surgery and completed a surgical residency in Ophthalmology at LSU medical center. He then joined a pioneer in the surgical cor
rection of nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism with J. In 1993, it was time to return to his roots in West Texas so Dr. Ingram moved his family to Midland and started Ingram Eye Centerโlater to become Eye Center of Midland. He currently has two United States Patents in eye surgical techniques and intraocular lens technology, and he continues to strive for better cutting edge advancements in surgical eye correction. Dr. Ingram feels blessed to have found such an amazing group of people with roots in West Texas and Eastern New Mexico to serve. Dr. Colby Brownlee grew up in Andrews and was also the Andrews High School Valedictorian before attending Baylor University for his undergraduate degree. He then received his medical degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. He did a one year Transitional Internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth and then did his eye surgery training in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Jones Eye Institute, where he served as Chief Resident. He is now happy to be back home in West Texas doing complete eye exams as well as cataract, eyelid, cornea transplant, and glaucoma surgeries. Dr. Brownlee also regularly donates his surgical expertise internationally to help improve the vision of the indigent in Guatemala and Honduras. Dr. Brownlee is also a proud husband and father of five. He and his wife are active members at Mid-Cities Community Church. He enjoys playing golf, fishing, camping, and coaching his kid's soccer teams.
