Full Time Medical Assistant
Job duties include, but not limited to:
Greet and room patients; obtain and document vital signs and patient history
Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with procedures and exams.
Support orthopedic procedures and Urgent Care treatments.
Maintain a sterile and clean environment according to infection control standards.
Prepare and maintain examination rooms.
Accurately document patient encounters in the EHR system.
Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and track follow-up care.
Assist with administrative and clinical tasks as needed.
Translate medical information accurately and professionally for Spanish-speaking patients
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, CCMA, etc.)
However, equivalent hands-on experience in a medical setting will be accepted in place of certification.
Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Basic knowledge of EHR systems
