s we transition from winter to spring, it’s important to adjust our skincare routine to accommodate the changing weather. Here are a few tips to keep your skin healthy and glowing:

1. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! With the weather getting warmer, our skin tends to lose moisture more quickly. Make sure to drink plenty of water and use a hydrating moisturizer to keep your skin nourished.

2. Exfoliate gently. Winter may have left our skin feeling dry and flaky, so it’s important to exfoliate regularly to remove dead skin cells and reveal a fresh, radiant complexion. Opt for a gentle exfoliator to avoid irritating your skin.

3. Protect from the sun. As the sun becomes stronger in the spring, don’t forget to apply sunscreen every day, even on cloudy days. Choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.

4. Lighten up your skincare products. Swap out heavy winter creams for lighter, more breathable formulas to prevent clogged pores and breakouts. Look for products labeled as oil-free or non-comedogenic to avoid aggravating your skin.

My journey started with $20 makeup applications as a teen, and in 2017, my clients inspired me to take it further. I wanted women to feel beautiful in their own skin, and our community needed estheticians who look like us. Starting esthetics school in 2019, was by far my best investment.
