Whew!! What a week! Last week was National Nursing Home Week and boy did we have fun! Started off NHW with Camp JKM! We had Wildly Blessed come out with a mini petting zoo and the administrative staff had comp fire songs and s‘mores! The second day was Western Day and we had Max Conway and the Girl Next Door come by and sing, then a good old fashioned co****le tournament! On Wednesday we had a carnival and the residents enjoyed homemade circus cupcakes and mini games! On Thursday we had a spa day complete with facials and manicures! Then on Friday we will ended with BIG MONEY BINGO and we had an intimate Celebration of Life to honor those who have left us.

Last night our residents enjoyed our monthly candlelight dinner! Tonight’s candlelight dinner was a proper English roast dinner with:

Roast
Roasted Potatoes
Green peas
Gravy
Yorkshire Pudding
And an English trifle for dessert
