HealthStar is a multidisciplinary medical clinic that believes in making Birmingham, Montgomery and Prattville better. We believe that there are alternatives to living a healthier and happier life without surgery or addictive opioids. Our non-surgical solutions are designed to relieve joint pain by getting patients back to their active lifestyle. We have a team of doctors, chiropractors and physical therapists who are compassionate about our patients' needs and want to be part of your health journey. Our staff is there for every newborn to ninety-year-old experiencing any pain.

SERVICES

Chiropractic Adjustments

These adjustments are used to re-align and position the spine by using a quick gentle push on the targeted spinal joint. The proper alignment allows the body to naturally heal itself.

Medical Treatments

Our medical-based treatments provide quick pain relief for suffering patients. We are able to properly identify the source of the pain and we will provide an appropriate treatment program that's suitable to you.

Disc Traction

Our Traction Therapy for Spinal Discs includes herniated and disc traction therapy. The solutions to lower back pain are reducing pressure on the lower spine and spinal nerves.

SRS Therapy

Spine Reconditioning System is therapy for back pain relief. This modern and traditional technology is a series of non-surgical treatments that are designed to repair damage to the spinal disc while strengthening the muscles and joints in the spine.

Knee Injections

Injection-based treatments are used to relieve suffering from intense pain in the knees. Knee treatments are normally paired with some of our physical therapy treatments to provide long-term pain relief.

Braces & Support

During the recovery and rehabilitation process, we provide medical equipment such as belts, traction units, pillows, braces, and support to aid our patients in their recovery and rehabilitation. Our medical equipment is also used with our therapies to help patients advance the healing process at home.

Range of Motion Therapy

A hands-on technique that acts as stress relaxation and low-load muscle stretch to aid the muscles and ligaments. Range of Motion therapy is great for those who have suffered injuries or conditions that limit their range.

Digital Motion X-Ray

DMX is a new technology that is a fluoro-based x-ray system, coupled with new digital and optic technology, allowing clinicians to view the spine in real-time motion at 30 x-rays per second.

Computerized Adjusting

This instrument is used in the analysis and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal and joint problems. It’s available for all ages as it uses precise computer-controlled gentle impulses.

Laser Treatment

FDA approved a technology that eliminates knee pain to avoid surgery. It is a non-invasive, non-surgical laser treatment that is an effective treatment geared for long-lasting results.

Nerve Conduction Stimulation

One of the resources used to identify the source of your pain. With Nerve Conduction Stimulation, we are able to control the muscles in the body using electrical signals called “impulses”.
