Today was a productive and enriching day here at Lakewood. We began the morning with uplifting encouragement, meaningful devotions, and worship together. Residents then participated in our Balance Academy session, which featured upper arm movement exercises as well as engaging hand and arm ball activities designed to promote mobility and wellness.

Residents also enjoyed stimulating activities such as Trivia and Wheel of Fortune before spending a relaxing afternoon watching a heartwarming Hallmark romance film. Afternoon tea was complemented by delicious chocolate croissants shared in good company.

Creativity flourished during Art Class as residents crafted beautiful sponge-painted butterfly artwork filled with vibrant color and expression. We concluded the day with laughter, fellowship, and several enjoyable rounds of Bingo before supper.

It was another wonderful day filled with friendship, activity, creativity, and meaningful shared experiences.

Today was a busy yet beautiful day here at Lakewood! Our morning began with devotions, thoughtful discussion questions, and singing our daily hymn, “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.”

Throughout the day, our residents enjoyed playing Wheel of Fortune, participating in our fun Bucket Toss Game, and sharing lots of laughter during the Teddy Bear Toilet Paper Race. After lunch, we enjoyed a musical performance followed by one of our favorite afternoon activities — Lazy Bingo!

We cherish creating meaningful moments, sweet fellowship, and smiles that brighten each day here at Lakewood. 💛

Today was a busy yet wonderfully joy-filled day here at Lakewood! We spent the morning relaxing out on the porch, enjoying the beautiful sunshine, fresh breeze, and time together outdoors. Residents shared in Devotions & Prayer, enjoyed Trivia and funny short stories filled with laughter, and spent time watching favorite game shows together. We also baked a delicious cake and wrapped up the day with Men’s Group Coffee & Donuts, creating meaningful moments, smiles, and sweet fellowship throughout the day.

The last couple days have been full of fun and joy. So grateful to all our mothers.
