Welcome Dr. Sarah Summerlin!

We are excited to announce that Dr. Sarah Summerlin has joined OB-GYN Associates of Montgomery!

Dr. Summerlin grew up in Phenix City, Alabama, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University. She went on to attend medical school at UAB, where she spent her third year on the Montgomery campus working alongside our team—an experience that confirmed her passion for women’s health and our community. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the prestigious AOA Honor Society. She then completed her OB-GYN residency at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC, in 2025.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Summerlin enjoys spending time with her husband, her high school sweetheart, and their two dogs. She also loves being outdoors and spending time with her nearby family.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Summerlin to Montgomery and to our practice. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome!

Please join us in welcoming one of our own
employees in the role of Nurse Practitoner at OB-GYN Associates of Montgomery.

Michelle Kitchens is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in women’s health. She began her career in labor and delivery, where she spent many years supporting women through some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.

Michelle earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Troy University. She believes in building trust, educating patients, and offering personalized care that respects each individual’s unique needs.

Outside of her professional life, Michelle is a wife and mother of three. Michelle and her family are members of First Baptist Church Montgomery. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as unwinding at the beach or pool. Fitness is also an important part of her life, and she makes time to work out regularly to stay healthy.

Abigail (Abby) Oliver is a board-certified registered nurse practitioner receiving her certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Abby graduated summa cm laude from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2017. She went on to graduate from Troy University in 2023 with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Abby has devoted her career to taking care of women starting as a registered nurse in the postpartum unit at East Alabama Medical center. She also formerly practiced at OB-GYN office in Opelika, Alabama before moving back to her hometown of Troy. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau.
Abby currently lives in Troy with her husband, son, and two dogs. She enjoys the lake, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Join us in welcoming Dr Carson Klein,our newest physician,to OB-GYN Associates of Montgomery. We are excited to have her join the practice!!
Dr. Carson Klein grew up in Beauregard, Alabama. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a Master’s degree in rural community health from the University of Alabama, where she played alto saxophone in the Million Dollar Band and met her husband, Daniel. She earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2020 and completed a Family Medicine Residency on the Advanced Obstetrics track at Texas A&M University in 2023. Prior to joining OBGYN Associates of Montgomery, she practiced in Andalusia, Alabama, providing primary care to patients of all ages and performing vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric and gynecological services. Dr. Klein and her husband have one daughter; in her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with their house full of pets.
