Dr. Heather Lawson completed her medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience. She subsequently went on to complete her residency in the Department of Family Medicine at Baptist Hospital in Montgomery, AL. She is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. Over the past 11 years, Dr. Lawson has become experienced in Emergency and Aesthetic Medicine. She has had extensive training in many forms of injectables and aesthetic procedures including Botox, Dysport, Tear Trough Filler (undereyes), Liquid Facelift, PDO Thread Lift, Dermal Fillers, Mesotherapy, IPL, PRP, Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement, Sermorelin Therapy and Other Anti-Aging Treatments. This training includes hands-on experience with some of the top aesthetic doctors in the country, where she learned the most up to date skills and techniques. She is experienced and skilled with the Microcannula Technique that reduces complications such as bruising, edema, and vascular occlusion that occur more frequently with the use of sharp needles. Her training and experience has allowed her to help many patients achieve their aesthetic facial goals. She has brought her broad knowledge and skills to Tallassee and Downtown Montgomery, where she is the Medical Director/Owner of Lawson Aesthetics & Medspa.
Dr. Lawson is passionate about helping others look and feel their best and enjoys educating her clients on ways to correct, protect, and maintain a healthy, youthful, and radiant appearance and health. We also strive to provide the most effective and current procedures in aesthetics to bring those techniques and procedures to local communities. Dr. Lawson and her staff are dedicated to providing the best aesthetic experience they can to their patients, so they can look and feel amazing. Brittney Brasington is a highly skilled registered nurse who has ten years of experience in dermatology and seven years of experience in aesthetics. She completed the Institute of Dermed’s Medical Aesthetics course in 2012 certifying her in various/numerous types and strengths of peels, dermaplaning, microneedling, and microdermabrasion. She holds certifications from the American Society of Laser Medicine & Surgery for laser therapy, and from Viora for radiofrequency and IPL therapies. Brittney has a wealth of experience and extensive knowledge in the latest cosmetic procedures and works closely with Dr. Heather Lawson to ensure all clients/patients have access to cutting edge technologies.
Brittney is passionate about aesthetics and enjoys helping clients/patients achieve the best results/skin possible. She works with patients to develop highly specialized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient’s specific need(s), and expressed, desired outcome(s). Brittney is dedicated to providing continued leadership and influence in the field of aesthetics.
