This soft foam belt contours around the waist with the help of an adjustable buckle strap.

Grant is very comfortable, safe and well supported using this aquatic combination consisting of the Aquafit Neck Collar with press stud closure [item 9401PA] + Aquafit Upright Float [9501S] + Aquafit Body Sling for larger adults [item 9875HA].

With this combination, Grant is able to participate in muscle strengthening exercises for his lower body. Grant loves performing this torpedo exercise and the additional head and neck support keeps his head above the water.

The Aquafit Body Sling for larger adults is longer and wider than out original body sling, suitable for taller and larger adults. This body sling has 2 sets of handles underneath for the Hydrotherapist and support person to hold onto. This high quality body float provides stability and comfort.

The Aquafit Upright Float is positioned underneath the neck collar for additional buoyancy and greater height above the water to help keep Grants face dry.

The adorable Jaxson is 13 months old, weighs 13kg and loves being in the water splashing around with his 3 brothers. His head and neck is well supported by Theraquatics Aquafit Neck Collar with press stud closure (item 9401PC).

This soft comfortable neck float fits more loosely around the neck to aid buoyancy and allow freedom of movement.

Can be used in conjunction with other pool floats such as the Aquafit Body Sling (item 9875) for greater buoyancy and lateral support while the swimmer is laying in a supine body position.

The Body Sling for larger- sized adults - item 9875HA. It is very stable, slightly longer than the standard adult sized Body Sling (9875A), has a wider sling and handles for greater manoeuvrability. Michael has had 2 major strokes and he is regularly participating in Hydrotherapy to regain his function, mobility, strength and coordination. He is performing exercises suspended on his back within the Body Sling with handles which provides excellent lateral support, comfort and buoyancy.

The Hydrotherapist can perform passive and active exercises with him in a supine body position. He can perform fun leg strengthening exercises pushing off the wall. This torpedo exercise is a very popular exercise.

Michael’s head and neck is well supported by the Aquafit Neck Collar with press studs and his feet are protected by Theraquatics Water sneakers. A great tool for aquatic therapists working with swimmers with a more severe disability.

The swimmer lays supine within the body sling while the therapist carries out stretches and passive and active exercises on their lower limbs. Handles on the underside of the sling enable a support person to hold onto the sling under the swimmer’s shoulder blades, without getting hand or arm fatigue. The handles also allow the swimmer to be moved around the pool while inside the body sling.

Body Slings in an XL and Bariatric size have 2 sets of handles – one pair may be used by the support person and the other pair by the therapist to hold onto during passive and active exercises.

The Body Sling can be used in conjunction with an Aquafit Neck Float (Item 9401A). Made from a polyester weave and polystyrene beads.

Three sizes:
SKU 9875HA has one pair of handles and sling width of 45cm.
SKU 9875HAXL has two pair of handles and sling width of 55cm.
SKU 9875HAB has two pair of handles and sling width of 65cm.

Swim Pool Mirror - item 7493.
This waterproof mirror is a great tool to assist with posture correction and posture training. Since Stuart’s brain injury his body awareness has been inhibited, he has the tendency to lean to the right, his stronger side. With this pool mirror he can see himself and straighten up and maintain a correct posture during his Hydrotherapy exercises.

This Swim Pool Mirror is easy to handle in the water.

Will not corrode and is suitable for all fresh and salt water environments.

Made from mirror grade stainless steel with a composite backing and smooth vinyl surround.

Cleaning Instructions:
Rinse the Swim Pool Mirror in fresh water after use in chlorine treated or salt water swimming pools.
Using a dry cloth, rub plain white flour on the dry stainless steel mirror face and this will polish the mirror to its original brilliance.
To lengthen the life of the mirror keep it out of sunlight after having been used.

Noodle Oodle + Adjustable Weighted Hydro Cuffs.
A great aquatic combination of equipment to develop lower body strength, joint mobility and coordination.

The resistance of the Adjustable Weighted Hydro Cuffs (ankle weights) and Noodle Oodle in addition to the resistance of the water provides a great source of proprioceptive input. This type of sensory input stimulates the brain, enhancing body awareness, motor coordination, muscle tone, brain function and cognitive abilities like focus and memory. This sensory input also helps to reduce stress chemicals and anxiety.

The inspirational Doctor Blair Munford has a spinal cord injury and he likes using the ankle weights to help stabilise his legs in the water and reduce plantar flexion (pointing of the toes). The weights help to drop his heels down onto the pool floor, controlling his muscle spasticity. He enjoys using the Noodle Oodle as the foam wants to float upwards which encourages his knees to bend and then he can push down working against the resistance. He enjoys performing the stomp exercise with this aquatic combination of equipment.

Theraquatics Hand Bar - item 6014
These heavy resistance aqua dumbbells can be used under water during muscle strengthening exercises for the upper body and core abdominals.

These high quality hand bars have a cushioned hand grip for easy grasping and extra comfort. Strengthen and shape the upper body working against the high level of resistance or participate in cardiovascular training in an environment that has minimal impact on the body and aids recovery.

Theraquatics Hand Bar can be used in combination with the Water Aerobics Belt enabling you to work the upper and lower body at the same time within the deep end of the pool. TIP: Some customers may find a small amount of water in the handles of their aquatic barbells after exercising in the water.
