It is an honor to officially open our mental health services to veterans! What a special day thanks to an amazing team of counselors, therapists, state partners, veteran support organizations and especially our vets and families for making this a reality! Faith is truly shaping futures here and providing help and hope to folks across Alabama not only through our services, but also by training the next generation of healthcare professionals! We offer LSVT BIG which is an evidence based program that trains individuals with Parkinson’s disease to use their body more “normally” by focusing on bigger motions. We love getting to share success stories! Rod came to us through APTAT and the SAIL program wanting to try out the Obi robotic feeding device! Needless to say he mastered it quickly and we can’t wait to introduce more assistive technology options to him!
