Our next SLP highlight for this month is our very own Elizabeth Grant (a.k.a EG) M.S., CCC-SLP, ASDCS !
EG holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders, with a thematic concentration in Rehabilitation and Special Education, from Auburn University. Additionally, she earned her Master of Sciences in Speech-Language Pathology from Georgia Southern University. She obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA in 2018.
EG specializes in various areas within her field, including pediatric language development, articulation therapy, feeding disorders, sensory integration, and engagement/play interventions. She recently completed her Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist Certification and continues to expand her skillset! Her professional journey has encompassed diverse settings, including schools and pediatric outpatient clinics, where she has provided services both in person and through telehealth platforms. This past July, Elizabeth became an SOS certified feeding specialist!
One of EG's greatest passions is witnessing the transformation in children as they embark on their communication journey, observing the joy that lights up their faces as they connect with others in a shared world. She takes immense pride in helping them acquire new skills and develop a strong sense of self-efficacy, enabling them to confidently navigate the world.
Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys spending quality time with her children, Judah and Eleanor, and her husband, Tyler. They are active in their church in Montgomery and love working specifically with the teenagers in the student ministry.
We are so grateful to have EG as a part of our team!
