We’re so proud to share that our very own pharmacy technician and store manager, Amy Saranthus, served on the selection committee for the new Technician Designated Seat on the Alabama Board of Pharmacy! 👏💊

The committee met at the Alabama Pharmacy Association (APA) office in Montgomery on August 28 to help shape the future of pharmacy in our state.

At Semmes Pharmacy, we believe in creating opportunities for our team to be active participants and advocates for the profession. Amy’s dedication to the field and her leadership continue to inspire us all. 💙

⚠️ Attention Alabama Community Pharmacists! ⚠️ Recently an email was sent to one contact person at each independent pharmacy containing an important survey from Exouza–the company working on the PBM study that was commissioned by the Legislature.

APA highly encourages you to complete this survey as it will play a tremendous role in showcasing the state of independent pharmacy in Alabama.

📊 We are here to help! Feel free to contact us if you would like a copy of the questions asked within the survey to have handy before beginning. This survey is very lengthy (approximately 51 questions) and asks details that may be easier to gather in advance. Give us a call at 334-271-4222 and we will send you a PDF version of the questions.

🗓️ The last day to complete the survey is September 30, 2025.
