Family Care Associates is looking for a full time EXPERIENCED, Clinical Medical Assistant. This person must be a quick learner, hard working with minimal supervision, able to multi-task and work well with others.
Responsibilities include:
Respond promptly to patient phone calls and portal messages
Train and become proficient in using EMR and office equipment
E-scribe medications to patient pharmacy
Obtaining prior authorizations
Complete nursing documentation in electronic medical record
Complete orders, tasks and messages routed by physician
Obtain accurate and up-to-date patient health history, medications and allergies
Prepares room and equipment for patient by gathering all necessary equipment, supplies, and setup devices
Proficient in taking X-rays, performing EKG and PFT testing
Administer injections and medications as ordered by physician
Perform in-house testing, i.e A1c, Urine Dipstick, Quick Step and Rapid Flu, etc..
Assist physician with exams, treatments and procedures as needed
Clean, disinfect and sterilize instruments
Keep work area clean and organized
Keep exam rooms clean and disinfected

We are in need of a Patient Registration Clerk/Referral Coordinator. The position requires someone who is able to multi-task, answer phones, verify insurance, etc. This is a Full time position and medical office experience is preferred. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k plan as well as additional benefits. Hours will be Monday through Thursday 8:00 to 5:15 and Friday 8:00 to 1:00.
