RSV season is right around the corner!

👶 What is RSV?
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a common virus that usually causes cold-like symptoms but can be much more serious in infants—sometimes leading to bronchiolitis or pneumonia.

💉 What is Beyfortus?
Beyfortus is a protective antibody (not a vaccine) given as a single injection before RSV season. It helps your baby’s immune system fight off RSV and has been shown to reduce RSV-related hospitalizations by 80%!

🤰 What if mom received the RSV vaccine in pregnancy?
Great news—mom’s RSV immunization (Abrysvo) provides the same protection to baby that Beyfortus does. Babies only need one method of protection, not both.

A recent study found that extra hours in front of screens are linked to higher heart risk factors.

It’s a great reminder for families (and all of us!) to balance screen use with movement, play, and rest. Small changes—like family walks, outdoor play, or device-free dinners—can make a big difference over time.

We’re now using OhMD, a secure text system, to send updates about appointments, referrals, imaging, and payment reminders. Soon you’ll even be able to request refills and reach our nurse line by text!
