After the children received treatment at the Sickle Cell UAB Clinic in Montgomery, AL on March 27, 2026, they celebrated Easter by playing games and other activities! Our Activity Support Coordinator/Counselor, Ms. Beverly Freeman, was in attendance to help with the festivities! Ms. Beverly Freeman attended a family retreat on Saturday, September 6, from 8:30 A.M. – 12:00 noon, sponsored by Children of Alabama, where there were over 15 Sickle Cell families that gathered in attendance for guidance and fellowship with other Sickle Cell Disease clients who are dealing with this dreadful condition. The retreat was held at Children’s Harbor, located at 434 Children Harbor Drive, Eclectic, AL 36024.
