We are thrilled to announce that Donna Pavlin has transitioned into the role of Executive Director at Sunapee Cove in New Hampshire.

Joining her is Nelly Simon, LPN, who has taken on the role of Resident Care Director.

Both Donna and Nelly were valued members of the HallKeen team at Brigham House, and we are delighted to have them continue their journey with us in their new roles at Sunapee Cove.

HallKeen Assisted Living Communities is excited to announce the promotion of Jaime Girard Rochette to Regional Director of Operations!

Jaime joined HallKeen Assisted Living Communities in June of 2023 as the Executive Director (ED) at Brigham House in Watertown, MA, bringing with her over 15 years of experience in senior living. At the end of the year, she transitioned to the ED position at River Mills, where she has successfully led her team in building a strong, cohesive culture focused on establishing the community as the premier provider of assisted living and memory care in a unique and evolving market. In recognition of these efforts, River Mills Assisted Living at Chicopee Falls was named “2025 Community of the Year” at HallKeen’s Summer Outing.

Jaime will be overseeing River Mills as well as 4 other communities in her regional portfolio.

Yesterday, at HallKeen Management's Summer Outing, we celebrated HallKeen Assisted Living Communities’ “2025 Community of the Year”, River Mills Assisted Living!

When the doors to River Mills opened to its first resident, less than 90 days later the world would be shattered by a pandemic that lasted the better part of 3 years.

Throughout the pandemic, River Mill's team of individuals endured and persisted, keeping Residents safe and growing the Community every which way possible. For the past two years in particular, the Leadership Team developed a seamless bond together and worked daily to compassionately execute with precision and routine in a unique market with the goal of emerging as the premier assisted living and memory care provider.

HKALC was an exhibitor sponsor at the Case Management Society of New England Spring Conference focusing on Artificial Intelligence in healthcare.

Michael Lundholm, HKALC Regional Sales Specialist, and Douglas Warren, Community Relations Director at Susan Bailis Assisted Living in the Back Bay, represented our Boston area communities -- Brigham House (Watertown), Prospect House (Revere), Susan Bailis (Boston), Windrose at Weymouth, and Windrose at Woburn. They raffled off a basket of golf goodies and had a great time meeting people!

Get to know Torshie Brice, Executive Director at the Residences of Benning Metro in DC!

Torshie’s journey into Senior Living started as a child watching her mother care for her grandmother and aunts. After graduating from the University of Florida, she moved back to MD to be closer to family. She started volunteering at a Senior Living Community, and it has been her passion ever since.

After working in operations for 3 years, Torshie focused on meaningful activities for older adults, particularly dementia training. Shortly after, her own father was diagnosed with early signs of dementia. Torshie was previously with the Residences at Kenilworth Park prior to its official opening. Whether as a Community Relations Director, Activities Director, or Executive Director, she is happiest supporting older adults. Navigating firsthand the care of an older loved one and the relief of finding an option that worked best for her own family is a connection she has made with so many families.

The HallKeen Management corporate team brought the Fenway vibes to the office today for the Red Sox home opener!

We enjoyed a delicious lunch made by our very own Lisa Grosso Newberg that featured all of the ballpark classics—sausage, peppers & onions, hot dogs, chips & dips, and plenty of yummy treats!

Everyone showed their team spirit by rocking their best Red Sox gear as we got ready to cheer on our favorite team. Don't forget to watch the Red Sox take on the Rangers today at 4:05PM
