Balch Book Bingo was a success! We collected boxes of food donations, raised some funds for the 4th grade from snack sales, and learned not just how to play bingo, but some lore too! 4th grade teachers, Mrs. Salvucci & Mrs. McColgan, kept us entertained by calling numbers. Thank you to all who came out in the bitter cold! Hope everyone enjoys their new to them books.

Mass Audubon came to the Balch this week and presented to each class. The programs included Animal Adaptations & Birds of Prey. The kids were respectfully and asked lots of wonderful questions!

Special thanks to our Enrichment Coordinator, Lauren Davila, for organizing! And to Norwood’s own Chris Paddock for this educational opportunity.

We are supporting the Balch Teachers & Staff during these long parent-teacher conferences days with sandwiches & salad from Lunchbox Deli. And seltzers & cookies from one of our all star volunteers!
