Dr. Rita Hancock is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management specialist, and has been a physician for over 25 years. Though she utilizes a broad variety of treatments to treat spine and joint pains and/or numbness and tingling in the limbs, such as doing EMG nerve tests and performing injections and prescribing medication when necessary, her main focus is trying to heal patients through conservative means, such as hands-on osteopathic manual medicine (spinal manipulation) and soft tissue (trigger point) injections. This results in overall LOWER cost to patients relative to when they see surgeons and spinal intervention doctors first. We also offer second opinions in case another doctor said you need surgery but you aren't sure if you trust that opinion.
