Join CAHIP - Orange County for breakfast on October 7th from 8:30am-10:30am at the Tustin Ranch Golf Course. In this course, we will discuss the provisions of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that apply to employer-sponsored health plans and individuals covered by them. Agents are tasked with understanding the new laws that affect these health plans. We will cover the direct impact of the OBBB Act on employee benefit plans, including telehealth, HSA-compatible plans, HSA reimbursement for Direct Primary Care, as well as tax-related components such as the increases to Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts and ACA Limited Eligibility for Tax Credits. We will also discuss the administrative and legal requirements for these benefits, in plan amendments, policy, and the like. In addition, we will discuss the continuation of employer-provided educational assistance and increased childcare tax credits. We will also touch briefly on other provisions that affect agents’ employer clients, such as the No Tax on Tips, Overtime, and the exclusion for employer-provided meals and other employment-related provisions. We will also discuss the new Trump Accounts and Employer-allowed contributions to them, as well as the continuation of employer tax credits for paid family & medical leave, and important deductions for Seniors.
