This historic Optometry office & Optical was established over 30 years ago in the heart of Old Towne Orange. Husband & wife team, Dr. Alexander Romero and Dr. Ly Nguyen, acquired the practice in 2012 and have rejuvenated the office in order to provide each patient with the most advanced care utilizing modern ophthalmic technology. Both doctors have been practicing Optometry for over 13 years and a

re board certified in therapeutic pharmaceutical agents. As the equipment and frame selection have been updated, the old town charm remains unchanged. Our goal is to provide each patient with the utmost quality service in a personal and comfortable setting. THANK YOU TO THE SEVERAL LOCAL BUSINESSES THAT NOMINATED US FOR THE “BEST IN ORANGE” NOMINATION. I have told them all the same thing. I LOVE THAT WE ARE NOMINATED, but we are running against . I can easily ask people to vote for us as the best coffeeshop in Orange but I would never ask anyone to vote against the hospital that did three open heart 🫀surgeries on our son.

With that disclaimer ,, I would like to acknowledge the local Orange 🍊 businesses that we strongly endorse! .sweet.orange

I’m sure there are other businesses I support and I’ll add them after they send me a strongly worded comment. I would like to point out that we are not members so receiving nominations from the old towne community is extra meaningful 🧡. GOOD LUCK. - ⛲️

This is , When I was a young optometrist my school appointed me a mentor. My appointed mentor didn’t know how to play a stand up bass so I decided to choose a better one. Lucky, I met and he was my guide in and out of school. He is an optometrist that has done EVERYTHING. He was always around for anything I needed. He recently wrote a book and I encourage all my optometry related friends to purchase it. It’s called “FROM A MENDED HEART”. I knew him for 11 or 12 years before I understood what that meant. Once our son was born and I received comfort knowing he has a lot in common with him. ❤️‍🩹. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GUIDANCE.

IMAGINE IF YOU WILL,,, An optometrist goes to Chinatown and his son accidentally shoots him directly in the eye 👁️ by a professional grade confetti canon 🎉👁️. His glasses are blown off his face and he temporarily loses hearing in his left ear. After all this, he remarkably still has vision in that eye due to the protection provided by the glasses his wife prescribed. “MY GLASSES SAVED MY VISION!”

1 day later I have a mild black eye, but if I wasn’t wearing my glasses yesterday , I don’t think I would be making jokes about it today.

And I should point out & rocked the parade !!! 🐲🐉 It was a blast 💥

“SEE YOUR 72O in 20/20” - My buddy Post Master Shawn has made a few funny logos for us. ( Example, ramones & misfit rip offs). He made this one a long time ago but I never did anything with it. Now it’s on the internet so you can use it in your “Unofficial Orange Circle Optometry fan site”

Many people assumed I knew this Orange native. His name would come up all the time and I would say I don’t know him. One day he came in for an eye-exam,,,,,,when he returned for a follow up a few weeks later I put 2 and 2 together. I realized this was the legend everyone was talking about. Truth be told , I was disappointed and he didn’t live up to the hype 😂

This guy has the BIGGEST personality, but he brought in the SMALLEST board. Which makes perfect sense.
