Before teaching a skill, children need to feel safe, understood, and supported.
Connection creates the foundation for learning.
When we connect first, teaching becomes more effective.

Tantrums often happen when children feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or unable to communicate their needs.
The goal isn’t just to stop the tantrum — it’s to teach the skills that prevent them.
Small supports can make a big difference:
✔️ Predictable routines
✔️ Communication tools
✔️ Calm responses
Progress takes practice — and every small step counts. 💚

What may look like a simple drawing is actually so much more.
For many children, moments like these are opportunities to practice communication, connection, and social interaction.
Every small action — showing, sharing, giving — is part of building meaningful skills.
💚 Celebrate these moments.

Screen time isn’t the problem — balance is.

Children learn best through interaction, play, and real-life experiences.
While screens can be useful, too much passive time may reduce opportunities to practice important skills like communication, social interaction, and following directions.

Small changes, like adding more play and interaction, can make a big difference.
💚 Balance is key.

First/Then boards are a simple but powerful visual support used in ABA therapy.
They help children understand expectations by showing what needs to happen first and what comes next.
This clarity can reduce frustration, improve cooperation, and make transitions easier.
Parents can use First/Then boards for many everyday situations, including routines, transitions, and completing less preferred tasks.
Small supports like these can make daily moments smoother for both children and caregivers.

Big moments like these remind us why we love what we do.
This week, we are celebrating two amazing kiddos graduating from services. Their growth, hard work, and determination have been incredible to witness.

This milestone is also a reflection of the dedication of our clinicians and the commitment of the families we partner with every day.

Progress happens through teamwork, consistency, and support — and we’re so proud to celebrate it together.
Congratulations to these wonderful families and our amazing clinical team! 🎉

Screaming can feel overwhelming for parents, but often it’s a sign that a child doesn’t yet have the tools to communicate what they need.
When we teach simple replacement communication — like asking for help, requesting a break, or saying “more” — children begin to express their needs in more effective ways.
The goal isn’t just to stop the behavior.
It’s to build the communication skills behind it.
Small skills can lead to big changes.

We’re grateful to hear feedback like this from our team.
Creating a supportive environment for our clinicians is an important part of what we do. When our staff feel supported, they’re able to focus on what matters most — helping the children and families we serve.
Thank you to our amazing team for the work you do every day.

Visual supports are one of the most powerful tools we use in ABA therapy.💚

Many children learn best when information is clear, structured, and visual.
These materials help children:
• Understand expectations
• Practice social skills
• Learn emotional regulation
• Build communication
Small supports like these can make everyday situations easier and more predictable.
