People talking about Psychedelics but what about Hallucinogens?

Know the difference:

"The hallucinogenic treatment modality is not for everyone. While it does have to ability to cause useful benefits for addictions and other conditions, that does not mean it will be the best treatment option for your specific recovery process."

Being isolated from our normal day to day interactions with the world can send us spiraling into uncertainty. Uncertainty can lead to fear…

Hi, everyone : )⁣

I just wanted to check-in and see how you are all doing.⁣

As I navigate this new situation for myself, I noticed that sometimes I need a break from the insane amount of news coming to my phone. It seems like I see it everywhere; social media, phone app alerts, TV……and nearly ALL of it is based around projecting fear. ⁣

So let me ask you this; How often are you sucked into the latest news? Do you find yourself instantly anxiety ridden after reading the headlines? How often is a healthy dosage of the news that allows you to stay informed, but doesn’t consume your mental health in a negative way?⁣

I would love to hear your thoughts on this. ⁣

Are you thinking?: “I don’t have a problem but i still need to talk to someone.”⁣

Sometimes I just want to talk without context so that I can let out some steam. Just because I’m having a bad day doesn’t mean I’m having a problem that I need someone else to fix for me. Just by talking and having someone I trust listen, I’m able to resolve most problems myself just by venting.⁣

This has been the case with many of my clients who call me. By allowing them the space to “let it all out”, by the end of the call they not only feel lighter, but they end up resolving whatever was causing them conflict.⁣

It’s important not to underestimate the power of listening but also to acknowledge the ability we have to resolve situations just by being open and honest to ourselves.⁣

𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭, 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭?⁣

Having a plan and setting goals gives us structure and something that we know we can depend on. So what do we do when our plans and our goals seem to slip beyond our control due to our circumstances?⁣

Let’s start with flexibility and how we can be open to letting things go that are out of our control.⁣

Can your goals be completed later than what you originally had planned and hoped for? Of Course! After all, you are in full control of all of your actions.⁣
But, something to ponder; are you using life’s circumstances as an excuse to not complete that one overwhelming goal? ⁣
Is it REALLY going to be impossible to accomplish in your original time frame? What goals can you recreate and or reevaluate during difficult circumstances?⁣

And what about plans for the year?⁣

If life circumstances have stopped your plans from happening temporarily, yes, this can be quite frustrating because, again, that sense of structure has been broken. So, if you are in this situation, make new plans or adjust your old plans. ⁣

The most important thing to remember when things don’t go as planned and goals must be put aside (for now), is that YOU are right where YOU are meant to be. So let go and be in the moment and always hold on to the understanding that this moment in your life, YOU get to choose how you react : )⁣

𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧⁣

Being isolated from our normal day to day interactions with the world can send us spiraling into uncertainty. Uncertainty can lead to fear and fear can lead to a state of being completely stuck. ⁣

So..during these uncertain times how do we remain unstuck? How do we continue to grow during times of fear?⁣

One way is to realize that this period of time will pass. Might be hard to believe, but trust me, it WILL pass. Just like all the hardships you have gone through in life that seemed like they would never end, they passed and you moved on. ⁣

Another way is to know that humans have an amazing ability to adapt to new environments…YES that means YOU TOO! What are some ways that you can adapt to your environment, your new way of interacting with the world? ⁣

The important thing to remember is that if you are truly committed to your own self-growth, you WILL get through this stronger, more resilient and with a new gratitude for the world around you. I promise!⁣

I look into the mirror and say directly to myself, with full intention and focus, “Everything is going to be ok. I’ve got you. You can trust me. And we will take care of us together”⁣

This empowerment to self is available wherever you are with or without a mirror⁣

With so many people now doing Zoom calls and facetime calls. When your distracted and not listening to the person you are communicating to, it is more evident than ever. Here are some questions you can ask yourself to be more intentional in your listening and communication.⁣

Intentional listening and communication can create healthy relationships. The best place to start is with yourself. IE: Am I ready to make a choice towards my own true health and wellbeing?⁣

Am I willing to suspend all judgment, and quiet my mind and focus on the other person?⁣

So many times we find a solution and talk about it rather than being it. Success is in the dedication and commitment you adhere to towards your goal. What is it that's your Goal today?⁣
