This month, we’re proud to celebrate over 30 years of contribution to the Black skin care and skin health community! 🙌🏾

When Dr. Thrower began practicing in the 1990s, there were limited educational resources addressing dermatologic conditions in Black and diverse skin tones. Few textbooks covered the nuances of melanin-rich skin, and even fewer products were intentionally formulated with people of color in mind.

Over the past three decades, that need has guided his work.

Today, Dr. Thrower leads a dermatology practice with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting Black skin.

The practice is complemented by a medspa which collaborates closely with dermatology to provide comprehensive, medically guided aesthetic care.

The brand also includes a skincare line developed with melanin-rich skin as a priority, not an afterthought!

Along with an in-house manufacturing facility to maintain quality, consistency, and innovation.

From serving our community, folks near and far, and even as a team physician for the Miami Heat, the mission remains the same: inclusive, evidence-based skin care and heath.
