Ibsen was born in Cuba. He received an MD degree in Cuba in 2005. He then completed his residency in family medicine, orthopaedic, and trauma surgery. In 2014 he came to the US where he became a Certified Surgical Assistant.

In 2015 he was trained in invasive pain management procedures and regenerative medicine, including PRP and stem cell therapy. He then obtained a BSN and MSN from Miami Regional University. He became a certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) in 2020.

Ibsen has over 16 years of experience in the healthcare field, treating patients of all ages with orthopedic, neurological and internal medicine conditions.
