Caregiving is often called “invisible work,” yet it is the very foundation of our families, communities, and local economies. 🧑🏽‍⚕️👩🏾‍⚕️🏠

This International Women’s Day, we must acknowledge that the majority of this deep, meaningful work falls on the shoulders of women. Whether it’s raising the next generation, caring for aging parents, or supporting a partner through illness. Women are the backbone of care.

To every woman balancing a career, a household, and the heavy weight of caring for a loved one: Your work matters. Your mental load is valid. And you deserve support and we are here to help.

This weekend there’s so much happening around the Valley, and we’re excited to be part of it! 🌵☀️

Ahehee' Shidine'e Homecare will be set up at the market sharing information and resources for those interested in learning more about in-home non-medical caregiving. If you or a loved one could benefit from extra support at home, we’d love to connect and answer any questions.

It’s a great time to stop by, say hello, and learn more about the services available in our community. Plus, we’re expecting beautiful weather—perfect for getting out and supporting local vendors and organizations.

We look forward to visiting with everyone and connecting with families in the community. See you there! 😊

Yá’át’ééh Atsá Biyáázh • Hello February

As we welcome this new month in 2026, our team at Ahéhee’ Shidiné’é Homecare is embracing fresh beginnings. We’re supporting our annual MercyCare audit and are so grateful to be onboarding wonderful new caregivers into our team.

✨ A note for future team members: The longest step in our onboarding process is the professional reference check. Having a couple of backup contacts ready is always a big help!

✨ Our team loves: how simple and efficient our Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system is to use.

We’re here Monday-Friday, 9a-5p to answer any questions about joining our mission of compassionate care.

What’s one intention you’re setting for this month? Share below! 👇🏽

Ahéhee’! Thank you for being part of our community.

No Spiritual Surrender: Indigenous Anarchy in Defense of the Sacred
By: Klee Benally
No Spiritual Surrender: Indigenous Anarchy in Defense of the Sacred is a searing anti-colonial analysis rooted in frontline experience. Klee Benally (Diné) unrelentingly agitates against colonial politics towards Indigenous autonomy and total liberation of Nahasdzáán (Mother Earth).

Today, we are closed in honor and observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 🇺🇸

To our dedicated team: In alignment with our commitment to respect your time, today is a double-time holiday* for eligible team members. We believe honoring your dedication is a meaningful part of how we live our values.

As we reflect on Dr. King’s legacy of justice, peace, and service, we also acknowledge the ongoing struggle for equity across our nation. We stand in solidarity with all who are working toward a more just and beloved community. His dream challenges us to listen, learn, and contribute to positive change.

We encourage everyone to use this day for reflection, education, or service. Our office will reopen tomorrow, and we’ll return ready to continue this important work within our own community.

*Applies to team members who have worked their scheduled shifts before and after the holiday.
