Feeding Matters understands that many families face significant financial difficulty due to the high costs of treating pediatric feeding disorder, and the overall lack of insurance coverage.

This year, Feeding Matters will award $1,000 grants to ten families. Complete an application by Friday, October 11, 2024.

The Phoenix Children's 5th Annual Aerodigestive and Feeding Disorder Conference will be held virtually, with a focus on silent aspiration. The event will feature expert speakers, along with case studies and panel discussions on the symptoms and treatment of silent aspiration and pediatric feeding disorders.

* Understand the basic symptoms, etiology, work-up and treatment of a child with silent aspiration.
* Understand the importance of having a multidisciplinary approach when managing a child with silent aspiration.
* Understand the role of each specialist on a multidisciplinary aerodigestive or pediatric feeding disorders team.
