NATIVE HEALTH is excited to host FRYBREAD FOR THE FUTURE on SATURDAY, JUNE 6, 2026, 10am-1pm at 3738 N 16th Street (South of Indian School) in Phoenix. This special community event commemorates the 102nd Anniversary of the Indian Citizenship Act, granting all Native Americans citizenship and the right to vote.

Enjoy FREE Frybread tacos, Indigenous vendors, music by IIWAA, FREE posters and stickers, live screen printing, and MORE!

Despite having citizenship, many Native Americans still faced and continue to face restrictions to voting. It wasn't until recent years and The Native American Voting Rights Act of 2019 that many more Native Americans could gain easier access to voting. This hard-won struggle is why it is important for everyone to register to vote.

Phoenix Indian Center will be onsite providing Navajo Nation Voter Registration.

Don't forget to share this post with friends and family!
