This piece will always hold such a special place in my heart. 💜

I created this geode-style 3D painting back in July of 2023, pouring layers of texture, crystal-inspired details, and energy into every ring. I’ve always believed that my art is meant to find the person it’s created for — and yesterday, that finally happened.

The person who brought this piece home told me it felt like I had just created it just for them. When I explained that I painted it two years ago with the intention that it would eventually find the right person, they nearly cried. 💎 Moments like that are why I create — art that resonates, connects, and finds its forever home.

Meet "Pigmentation vs Color" — created in my signature style after a fascinating conversation with a coworker about the age-old question:

🖌 Pigmentation View: In art, black is the inclusion of all colors — mix enough pigments together, and you eventually get black. 🎨🖤

💡 Light/Color Theory View: In light, black is the absence of all colors — no light means no color, just darkness. 🌑🌈

This piece captures that push and pull — a bold, dark center radiating out into a burst of chaotic, vibrant texture, reflecting both perspectives colliding in one space.

I finally got to see my artwork not just hanging in someone’s home — but in their baby’s nursery!

This sweet little bean now has their very own crew of woodland pals watching over them. I love knowing these pieces will be part of their earliest memories, bedtime stories, and cozy moments.

These were so much fun to create, and it makes me SO excited to do more like them!
