Most chiropractors spend $200,000 on school…

Only to graduate and be told:

“Just rack and crack.”

15 minute appointments.
Insurance dictating care.
Patients cycling through passive treatments that never fix the real problem.

That’s not how we practice.

At CAN-AM Sports Medicine, we focus on:

• Root cause assessments
• Movement based rehab
• Progressive loading
• Long term solutions for active adults and athletes

No insurance limitations.
No assembly-line care.
Full autonomy to treat patients the way they actually need.

If you’re a sports chiropractor or PT who wants to practice real sports medicine, we’re hiring.

Parenthood is not neat reps and perfect form.

It is:
Scooping a squirming toddler off the floor.
Catching a falling milk bottle with one hand.
Twisting in the backseat to buckle a kid who is late for school.

You do not get time to brace, line up your feet, and think through your mechanics.
Your body has to be ready on demand.

If your back, hips, or shoulders protest every time you bend, carry, or sprint after your kids, it is not a sign that you should stop moving.
It is a sign your current capacity does not match the chaos you live in.

That is where smart training matters.

At CAN-AM Sports Medicine, we help parents in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley:
• Build real-world strength that translates to lifting, carrying, and playing
• Improve control and resilience in the joints that take the most stress
• Create a plan to get you back to your goals in the gym and at home, without needing a separate “parent body” and “athlete body”

Because you are not just training for PRs.
You are training to get up off the floor a hundred times a day.
To carry all the bags plus a sleeping kid.
To be the active parent your kids assume you are.

If you feel like parenthood has outpaced what your body can handle, you are not stuck with that.
You need a plan that respects how you actually live and move.

DM “PARENT” if you want help building a body that can handle the chaos of real life with kids, or hit the link in our bio to connect with our team and start creating a plan to get you back to your goals.

We’re growing at CAN-AM Sports Medicine and we’re looking for another provider to join our team.

If you’re a Sports Chiropractor or Physical Therapist who wants to work with active adults, athletes, and people who refuse to slow down, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

Most clinics are built around quick adjustments, passive treatments, and insurance limitations.

That’s not how we practice.

At CAN-AM Sports Medicine our model is built around:
• One-on-one care
• full autonomy
• Strength and progressive loading
• Helping people return to the activities they love long term

You’ll work with golfers, hockey players, lifters, runners, and active adults who want to stay active for life, not just get temporary relief.

This is a great opportunity for a provider who:
• Loves movement-based rehab
• Wants to work with athletes and active adults
• Wants mentorship and to grow clinically
• Is excited about building something meaningful in sports medicine

If that sounds like you, we’d love to connect.

What bone on bone REALLY means 👇🏻

This is a word that scares many people into believing that they need surgery…

When it’s a NORMAL, age-related change that doesn’t cause pain.

You know what sucks?

Being told you have bone on bone arthritis, getting a knee replacement surgery, and STILL having pain.

When people say “getting old sucks”
What they’re really thinking is…
“I don’t understand why I’m in pain so it must be my age” and this lack of clarity is the reason why we get spooked into a surgery we didn’t need

If you’re saying to yourself “getting old sucks”

You need our discovery visit

So that you can figure out what is going on

We have two spots left for a discovery visit this week, submit the form in our bio to apply.

“I love golf… but my back can’t handle 18 holes anymore.”

We hear this from golfers all the time.

At first it starts small.

A little stiffness around hole 8 or 9.
Maybe some tightness after a big drive.
Nothing that feels serious.

So you do what most golfers do.

You stretch.
You rest for a few days.
You get an adjustment.
Maybe a massage.

And for a little while, it feels better.

Until the next round.

Then it happens again.

By the back half of the course:
• Your swing feels tighter
• Rotation feels restricted
• Your back starts grabbing

Suddenly something you love starts to feel like a trade-off.

“Is playing 18 even worth how my back feels after?”

That frustration runs deeper than the pain.

Because golf isn’t just a hobby.

It’s time with friends.
Competition.
A way to stay active.

When pain keeps interrupting that, it starts to feel like something is being taken away.

But here’s the part most golfers never hear.

Your low back is rarely the real problem.

In most cases, the back is just absorbing stress from somewhere else.

When we assess golfers with recurring back pain, we usually find a few things:

• Limited hip rotation
• Stiff thoracic spine mobility
• Lack of rotational strength and control

When those areas cannot rotate well, the body still has to create speed somewhere.

So the low back takes on that job.

Swing after swing.
Round after round.

Eventually it overloads.

Rest, massage, and adjustments might calm symptoms.

But they do not change how your body rotates through the swing.

When we restore:
• Hip rotation
• Thoracic mobility
• Rotational strength under load

The stress redistributes through the system.

And suddenly the low back is no longer doing all the work.

Golf starts to feel the way it used to again.

Loose.
Powerful.
Fun.

You do not have to give up the game you love.

You just need a body that is prepared for the rotational demands of it.

DM “GOLF” and we will tell you what you can do to start playing pain free again.

We see this all the time: someone gets adjusted over and over… and their back pain keeps coming back.

They feel better for a few days.

Maybe even a week.

Then it tightens up again.

So they go back.

Another adjustment.
Another short window of relief.
Another flare-up.

Eventually the frustration sets in.

“Why does this keep happening?”
“Is this just how my back is now?”

Here’s the reality:

Adjustments can reduce symptoms.

But they don’t increase your spine’s capacity.

If nothing is changing about how your muscles support your spine…
If you’re not progressively strengthening the positions that trigger pain…

The relief will stay temporary.

Your spine doesn’t just need to be moved.

It needs targeted exercises.
It needs progressive loading.
It needs a plan that builds tolerance over time.

That’s what creates lasting change.

Not just feeling better for a few days —
But building a back that can handle your workouts, your job, and your life.
