Coconut shrimp with a cilantro-lime apricot sauce and a side salad of fresh pineapple, snap peas, and fresh mint from our garden 🪴😋

Using fresh herbs not only boosts flavor but adds nutritional value! Cilantro & mint are both high in antioxidants (reducing inflammation), and aid in digestion, heart health & immune function.

So excited to be co-facilitating this Sacred Aligning workshop with Dr. Cailin O’Hara ❤️ Lots of transformative and potent energy right now with the change of the season (and eclipse season too)! There will be wonderful conversation & reflection, as well as some restorative movement, breath work, sound/energy healing…a really juicy event! 🥰

A recent podcast reminded me that health is a process, not a destination. Be patient, find your joy, and do what you can each day to feel better. It’s not a race and you’re not an enigma to figure out.

We get so accustomed to eating the same salads – Romaine lettuce, mixed greens, etc (hopefully not iceberg 😖), but there are some unsung heroes called “bitter greens”

Two things: They aren’t all green (like this one) and they aren’t always super bitter…but hey even vegetables can break the rules!

Radicchio (like others in this family, e.g. arugula, dandelion, endive, kale, mustard greens, spinach) all have some great nutritional value. They are packed with vitamins & minerals, and contain antioxidants, fiber, and even a little protein.

So get adventurous! Try mixing up your salad routine.

What are some ways you like to mix up your salads?

So, I just weighed in at 124lbs at my doctor’s appointment this morning. Most I’ve weighed in a while…but my body doesn’t really look different, so I think I’m gaining muscle! 😆👍🏻

Besides yoga and swimming, I’ve been training in Kung Fu for about 5 months. The martial arts has been a longtime passion of mine (since doing karate back in high school). Feels so good to reconnect with it, and it complements my business in so many ways.

I definitely feel so much stronger, and that was my goal…so yay 🙌🏻 That’s why I always say that the scale doesn’t matter, you know? How do you FEEL in your body? ☺️

I'm so excited to share that after many months of building a foundation and pouring love into my new business, I published my website and I'm ready to work with clients. After my lay-off in the summer of 2020 (due to Covid) I decided to pursue a longtime passion of mine and get certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I am also nearly done with a 300-hour yoga training as well. All the change has been a bit scary, but I'm leaning into it and it feels good to follow my heart.

Feel free to check out my site and see what you think: www.lesliegennaro.com

And if you or anyone you know wants to work with a nutritionist, yogi, or Reiki master - I would love to hear from you! I appreciate the support and I'm excited to serve my community in a new way 🥰
