Dark as clouds—
nubile, naked, shameless,
captivating hearts,
most improper for a family girl!

Stomping like an elephant,
dizzy with drink,
tongue distended,
hair flying—
crushing demons
with horrid shrieks.

What a sight!
Men and gods recoil in fear.

Demons see Her breasts,
lofty as mountains,
and strike their elephants’ heads in terror,
rushing away.
What could be more amazing?

The Beautiful One adorns Herself
with the heads of Canda and Munda,
strung into a fearsome necklace.

Yes I teach classes with clothes on. I know that’s really weird but I do dabble in textile yoga. It’s like naked yoga but with clothes on and mixed company.

Sunday morning and I’m up early for a restorative yoga private session for someone who bit off a bit more than they could chew on a hike yesterday. Time to release the heat retention and the harsh impact on the body as well as cooling the mind.
