According to Dr. McCann, Allergy Partners Chief Medical Officer: "The FDA’s recent finding that many over-the-counter nasal decongestants are ineffective highlights that just trying to treat allergy symptoms is not enough. Managing allergies effectively involves knowing one’s triggers, devising ways to avoid them, and treating the underlying root cause – an exaggerated immune response – via immunotherapy.”

At Allergy Partners, we offer a comprehensive approach to managing your allergies:

- Identify and understand your triggers.
- Devise strategies to avoid them.
- Address the root cause.

Immunotherapy can be a valuable approach to treating allergies.
We aim to provide long-term relief and improve the overall quality of life.

Allergy & Asthma in the News: A Link Between Tick Bites and Meat Allergy?

According to the latest CDC data, there has been a steep increase in cases of alpha-gal syndrome, a rare meat allergy from tick bites this year, and may have already impacted as many as 450,000.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-66333478
Here's Dr. Bill McCann, Allergy Partners Cheif Medical Officer, on the rare condition:

"We often see alpha-gal, and diagnose via a complete medical history and blood testing. Families can protect their loved ones with awareness, diligence, and tailored avoidance diets while maintaining a healthy diet. For those affected, the allergy can wane over time, and following serial blood work, could be able to reintroduce meat into their diet over time."
