One of the reasons I pursued certification as a team was seeing how well-behaved was when I would take her with me to preschool drop-off and pick-up for my own children. The way she was so confident being surrounded by littles… you can see it in her face in these photos taken today with our friends at Stetson Hills School. That gentle little smile!

A parent of one of our little buddies recently told me that since starting reading sessions with , her child no longer shows the same hesitation to practice reading at home. How cool is that?!

Granted there could be tons of other factors involved but certainly reading to Pepper doesn’t hurt.

Indeed, studies have shown that practicing out loud with a can lower a student’s reading anxiety and boost their confidence.

It’s always so precious whenever puts her head on a kid’s lap because when they inevitably have to get up, without fail they all cradle her head carefully so as to set it down gently, as if she has no control of her neck muscles.
