Dr. Kominsky is an internationally recognized authority in diabetic limb salvage, advanced wound care, and complex foot and ankle reconstruction, with decades of experience advancing surgical innovation and patient outcomes.

He trained under Dr. Paul Brand at the prestigious Carville fellowship, helped found the Foot Care Council of the American Diabetes Association, and played a key role in bringing breakthrough biologic therapies such as Regranex®, Grafix®, and Apligraf® - to clinical practice.

Dr. Kominsky is also the editor of Medical and Surgical Management of the Diabetic Foot and has trained generations of surgeons while lecturing worldwide.
