One of the things we really pride ourselves on here at Generous Kingdom is the idea that “Men can still maintenance” the places around the Kingdom. Say hello to “Billie,” the “Resolute Strength” of the Kingdom and backbone of our effort moving and grooving in the world over the past four years. She’s a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado WT 4x4 and she is “The Old Work truck that always works.”

Maintenance on a headlight was easy. What surprised us was how major a difference the lights made after the bulbs were replaced (upgrades 👍) and the headlights cleaned. We really didn’t know how unsafe they were until fully replaced.

In the Ancient Texts upon the sacred altar, there are passages that depict “Spiritual Friends” who will never let you down and always provide compassionate presence. Rough around the edges, a veritable spitfire of lightning and truth, our Sovereign lays down the framework of how not all friends are your real friends on this version of FYF.

Not to excuse bad behavior or “lesser” qualities, have you ever made a mistake, shown up less than perfect, or made a comment that disrupted entire friendships? Sadly, that’s all too common these days. In our fight to learn “clinical language” such as “red flags” and “gaslighting,” somewhere we forgot that the opportunity to both make mistakes and rectify them is part of the human experience. If your “real friends” can’t handle you at your worst (healthy boundaries, communication, and forging agreements) then they don’t deserve you at your best. Head held high, Kings and Queens.

Ready for a ? While we always want to encourage some positive mindsets, the truth is: life is not all positive. In the practice of **ra - even the darkness is considered pure. So here’s a look into the “not so good” side of life.

A “Loneliness Epidemic” seems to be hitting a world where less and less people find connection, we have easier access to sexual stimulation and imagery, and there’s a lot of division between the genders. How do we treat something that is an affliction of the mind and a disconnection of the spirit?

It’s time for where we celebrate something from this past week. Today, we celebrate the awakening of more and more human beings.

The pursuit oft “to build on “ is an active mission for us here at GenKing. In order to do that? We need more people less likely to just follow the crowd or accept life as given without some critical thinking or faith to consider alternatives. More and more of that is happening and the only way you can’t see it is if you purposefully train your just to see the negative.

Our spoke about the themes of perspective earlier this week. What perspectives are you bringing forward or searching for as you continue to wake up to automatic patterns, generational trauma, or just abusive behavior disguised as love?

(one of the 5 aggregates or ) quite literally colors your world. If a human chooses to see the world as “a threat,” then the brain will seek to search for evidence of that truth and prove the world as threatening. If you choose to view the world as “full of possibilities,” then you will see a world full of possibility.

Consider your brain like a “tuner” that tunes to particular frequencies. If you seek to “download” a world that looks a certain way then that is all you will see. Use that brain to tune to a frequency that “feels better” for you! Willing to undertake the challenge this week?

It’s back, and it’s our favorite time of the week: ! What are we celebrating this week? Actually doing the thing! Instead of being stuck in analysis paralysis or “waiting for the perfect time,” there has been research indicating that those who make small efforts towards their larger goal gain more wisdom and experience in doing than those who wait for things to be the best before doing the thing. Specifically here at GenKing, we have been wanting to expand into holistic wellness events and markets.
