Hard weight loss truths…
It’s not complicated…..weight loss is compounded by several factors, but overall expenditure MUST exceed your intake, meaning weight loss happens when your in a calorie DEFICIT.
These slides may seem simple but they are the foundation of weight loss and what I revert back to with my patients when they stall.
It’s normal to hit a plateau in any weight loss journey, but focusing in on where you may be lacking or where you can improve throughout your journey will help get you to your goal faster and help you to make those life changes that will sustain your weight loss!
Nobody said that it was easy, but it is worth all the effort in the end, when you can improve your life and overall health and well-being. Move your body, set realistic expectations and keep going. Weight loss takes time, especially the weight loss that is slow and steady and maintainable.
