πŸŽ’πŸ“š Back to School Safety: Welcome, Students! πŸ“šπŸŽ’

As students nationwide head back to school, we want to wish you all a successful and safe year ahead! Whether you're in the classroom or navigating the school halls, safety is key to a smooth school year.

Here are some tips to stay safe:
βœ… Look both ways before crossing the street β€” even at crosswalks.
βœ… Use crosswalks and be cautious around buses. If the lights are flashing, stop and wait for the children to get on or off.
βœ… Stay alert while walking or biking. Always wear a helmet when riding your bike, scooter, or skateboard.
βœ… Keep your phone in your pocket while walking to avoid distractions.
βœ… If driving, slow down in school zones and always yield to pedestrians.

Here’s to a year filled with growth, knowledge, and positive experiences! Let’s all work together to keep our school communities safe and strong.

🚦 National Stop on Red Week | August 3–9, 2025 🚦

Every day, lives are lost or forever changed at intersections due to red-light running β€” one of the most dangerous and preventable traffic violations on our roads.

This week, the Priority Ambulance family of companies joins the National Coalition for Safer Roads in honoring those affected and raising awareness for intersection safety.

More than 1,000 people are killed each year in red-light running crashes.

In nearly half of fatal incidents, it’s not the violator who dies β€” it’s an innocent pedestrian, cyclist, or another driver.

Together, we can stop this.
βœ… Take the pledge: Never run a red light β€” not when you're late, not when you're distracted, not ever.
βœ… Use your voice: Share this message. Start a conversation. Use .
βœ… Make safety a priority β€” because every life matters at every light.

Let’s build safer communities one stop at a time. 🚨

Millions of Americans are under extreme heat warnings and advisories this week, with temperatures soaring as high as 120Β°F in some areas. The National Weather Service warns of a β€œsignificant threat” to health in many regions.

🌑️ Why It Matters:
Extreme heat isn’t just uncomfortableβ€”it’s dangerous and potentially deadly, especially for:
β–ͺ️ Older adults
β–ͺ️ Young children
β–ͺ️ Pregnant women
β–ͺ️ People with chronic health conditions
β–ͺ️ Outdoor workers and those without access to air conditioning

States under Extreme Heat Warnings include:
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

(With Heat Advisories across much of the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast)

Know the Signs of Heat Exhaustion and Heat Strokeβ€”review our graphic for symptoms and life-saving tips. Heat stroke is a medical emergency. Call 911 immediately.

βœ… Stay Safe:
β–ͺ️ Limit time outdoors
β–ͺ️ Stay hydrated
β–ͺ️ Wear light-colored, breathable clothing
β–ͺ️ Check on elderly neighbors, children, and those with medical conditions
β–ͺ️ Never leave pets or people in hot cars

If you don’t have access to AC, check local listings for cooling centers in your area.

Let’s beat the heat together. Your health and safety come first.

World Drowning Prevention Day | July 25
Anyone can drown. No one should.

Each year, thousands of lives are lost to drowning β€” many of them children. This , the Priority Ambulance family of companies is joining the global call to action to help prevent these tragedies.

🚨 Drowning is the third leading cause of death for children aged 5–14.
🚨 Over 3 million lives have been lost to drowning in the last decade.

Here’s how we can all help save lives:
βœ”οΈ Learn to swim – Enroll yourself or your children in lessons
βœ”οΈ Supervise children – Always keep a close watch near water
βœ”οΈ Stay alert – Avoid alcohol when swimming or boating
βœ”οΈ Check conditions – Know the risks before entering the water
βœ”οΈ Wear life jackets – Use proper safety gear when boating

Let’s work together to raise awareness, share knowledge, and protect our communities. πŸ’™
