As students nationwide head back to school, we want to wish you all a successful and safe year ahead! Whether you're in the classroom or navigating the school halls, safety is key to a smooth school year.

Here are some tips to stay safe:
✅ Look both ways before crossing the street — even at crosswalks.
✅ Use crosswalks and be cautious around buses. If the lights are flashing, stop and wait for the children to get on or off.
✅ Stay alert while walking or biking. Always wear a helmet when riding your bike, scooter, or skateboard.
✅ Keep your phone in your pocket while walking to avoid distractions.
✅ If driving, slow down in school zones and always yield to pedestrians.

Here’s to a year filled with growth, knowledge, and positive experiences! Let’s all work together to keep our school communities safe and strong.

🚦 National Stop on Red Week | August 3–9, 2025 🚦

Every day, lives are lost or forever changed at intersections due to red-light running — one of the most dangerous and preventable traffic violations on our roads.

This week, the Priority Ambulance family of companies joins the National Coalition for Safer Roads in honoring those affected and raising awareness for intersection safety.

More than 1,000 people are killed each year in red-light running crashes.

In nearly half of fatal incidents, it’s not the violator who dies — it’s an innocent pedestrian, cyclist, or another driver.

Together, we can stop this.
✅ Take the pledge: Never run a red light — not when you're late, not when you're distracted, not ever.
✅ Use your voice: Share this message. Start a conversation. Use .
✅ Make safety a priority — because every life matters at every light.

Let’s build safer communities one stop at a time. 🚨

World Drowning Prevention Day | July 25
Anyone can drown. No one should.

Each year, thousands of lives are lost to drowning — many of them children. This , the Priority Ambulance family of companies is joining the global call to action to help prevent these tragedies.

🚨 Drowning is the third leading cause of death for children aged 5–14.
🚨 Over 3 million lives have been lost to drowning in the last decade.

Here’s how we can all help save lives:
✔️ Learn to swim – Enroll yourself or your children in lessons
✔️ Supervise children – Always keep a close watch near water
✔️ Stay alert – Avoid alcohol when swimming or boating
✔️ Check conditions – Know the risks before entering the water
✔️ Wear life jackets – Use proper safety gear when boating

Let’s work together to raise awareness, share knowledge, and protect our communities. 💙

🚨 June is National Move Over Awareness Month 🚨

This month serves as an important reminder of how critical it is for drivers to yield to emergency vehicles. When first responders are en route to an emergency, every second matters—and your actions behind the wheel can make all the difference.

🚑 Here’s how to safely yield to emergency vehicles:
✔️ Move to the right and stop when you see lights or hear sirens
✔️ Remain stopped until the emergency vehicle has passed
✔️ Never block intersections or try to outrun emergency vehicles
✔️ Stay alert—avoid distractions and be prepared to act quickly

These simple steps help protect EMS professionals, law enforcement, fire crews—and the patients we serve.

📹 This video shows a recent incident in Georgia, where a vehicle failed to yield to a National EMS ambulance. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department quickly stepped in to ensure our team could proceed safely.

National EMS is a proud member of the Priority Ambulance family of companies, and we’re grateful to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department for their ongoing support in keeping our communities and crews safe.
