Chris joined Maricopa Ambulance in October 2020 and has steadily advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, including EMT, Paramedic, Field Training Officer, and Interfacility Supervisor. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership style focused on developing teams and delivering high-quality service.

Flu Season is Here! Stay healthy this Winter. 🩺

Flu symptoms can come on suddenly, and while many cases are mild, it’s important to know how to protect yourself, your family, and your community.

According to the CDC, common flu symptoms may include:
▪️Fever or chills
▪️Cough or sore throat
▪️Runny or stuffy nose
▪️Body aches, headaches, or fatigue
▪️Sometimes vomiting or diarrhea (more common in children)

If you’re feeling sick:
✅ Stay home when possible
✅ Limit contact with others
✅ Follow medical guidance
✅ Seek care if symptoms worsen or you’re at higher risk for complications

Serving On and Off the Court: Maricopa Ambulance Supports 2nd Annual Pickleball Charity Tournament

At the 2nd Annual Pickleball Charity Tournament, the winning shot wasn’t made on the court – it was made in the form of community generosity. Maricopa Ambulance and the IAFF, Local I-60, teamed up once again on November 12th to turn a day of friendly competition into holiday cheer for pediatric patients across Phoenix.

The annual event brought together first responders, community members, and supporters from across Maricopa County for a tournament that blends camaraderie, sport, and charitable giving. The event was created to provide holiday gifts for pediatric patients receiving care in Phoenix-area hospitals. This year’s tournament built upon the success of its inaugural tournament, with increased participation, community engagement, and charitable support. Thanks to the generosity of players, sponsors, and volunteers, the event raised more than $7,000 to support local children during the holiday season.

All week long, we’re honoring the tow operators, law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS clinicians, safety service patrols and roadway workers who put themselves in harm’s way to clear crashes, care for patients and keep traffic moving.

You can help protect them:
➡️ Slow down as you approach flashing lights or a crash scene.
➡️ Move over one lane when you can do so safely.
➡️ If you can’t move over, reduce your speed and give extra space.

During Crash Responder Safety Week (November 17–21, 2025), and every day, we ask our communities to do their part. Changing driver behavior saves lives — for our Priority Ambulance family of companies and for every responder working the roadway.

When you see lights ahead, remember: Someone’s loved one is standing out there. Slow down. Move over.
