This page is dedicated to Kristie P and her fight with APL (acute promyelocytic leukemia).

KP is a fierce and loyal friend, daughter, sister and auntie. She is the type that shows up always and no matter what. A dedicated ICU nurse for over 22 years, KP has touched so many lives. Eight years ago she was diagnosed with APL and crushed it. Here we are in 2023 and KP is once again, going to kick cancer’s butt!

In the coming months KP is facing chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. Join us in making origami paper cranes for KP in tribute to the story of Sadako Sasaki. Sadako Sasaki was a little girl that found hope and peace through the beauty and grace of 1000 paper cranes.
