Protecting reproductive healthcare in Arizona matters β€” and so does staying informed. Attorney General Kris Mayes has taken official steps to clarify the law, protect access, and launch the state’s first Reproductive Rights Unit to support Arizonans seeking care.

Everyone deserves trusted information, quality care, and the freedom to make their own health decisions. Empowered communities are healthy communities.

Black Mamas have always led the fight for justice β€” strengthening families, communities, and movements for change.

In the U.S., 29–44% of Black women experience postpartum depressive symptoms, yet too many go unidentified and without needed mental health care.

Access to quality health care β€” including mental health services β€” is a human right and essential to achieving Black maternal health equity.

πŸ’›πŸ’œ Thank you Black Mamas Matter Alliance ter and all the Black Mamas pushing us toward a future where health equity and Reproductive Justice are a reality.

Today marks 53 years since the historic Roe v. Wade decision, recognizing abortions as a constitutional right. Now, over 50 years later, 13 states consider abortions illegal, and many have restrictions to access. As a result, 1 in 3 women live in states where abortion is inaccessible. We understand that when our communities can access the care they need without barriers, we all feel the impact of a healthier, safer, more cared‑for community. Here in Arizona, we are protecting care for all, no matter what.
