Such respect for these two Doctors. Speaking from their heart. I have heard stories from nurses about this, patients dying alone, holding phones to their ears so loved ones can say goodbye. Has to be a better way. Click on the picture to listen.

Many people wonder when they take a CPR or a CPR and first aid class, if they will ever have to use those skills to help someone. Many worry that they’ll be too scared or will forget what to do. I received an email from a friend and work associate of my husband’s who had taken a CPR and first aid class with me. He wrote to tell us that he had helped to save a neighbor. Here is his story

Just want to say THANK YOU to you and Mrs. Blank for the CPR classes. They helped me save a life today as my neighbors toilet discharged and flooded both stories. She was on the sofa and suffered a heart attack when water started leaking from the ceiling and her daughter came and got me as she didn’t know what to do. So I moved her into the dining room and started CPR while her daughter called 911. Got her back before the EMTs arrived and then I shut the water off to the house. So glad I moved her as we both could have been hurt when the ceiling collapsed!

Thank you Scott for taking the time to get this life saving training and for being willing to step in and use those skills to help save this woman’s life. And thank you for letting us share in this moment.
You are a hero!!
