Our Story
At Maricopa Ob/Gyn Associates (MOGA), our skilled Certified Nurse Midwives are available for appointment at both our Central Phoenix location (1661 E. Camelback Road) and our Ahwatukee location (4530 E. Ray Road). Our midwives focus on empowering you during your pregnancy. Education is coupled with support as our midwives make sure that you stay healthy as your baby grows throughout your pregnancy. Should complications arise, our midwives will collaborate with our highly respected Board Certified OBGYNs to provide seamless care for you and your baby. We are pleased to offer a birth experience that is as unique as each of the women we serve. By creating a low-tech but high touch environment within the walls of Banner University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP), you and your baby will enjoy the best of both worlds: the comfort of your private labor and delivery room, the care and support of Certified Nurse Midwives, and the safety of world-class consultants and resources of a university hospital. BUMCP offers baby friendly protocols and offers 24/7 lactation support. Labor and delivery support services: Support provided by our skilled and experienced Certified Nurse Midwives and magnet nursing staff along with 24/7 in hospital physician coverage: - Water labor (tub or shower) - Aromatherapy - Portable fetal monitors - Minimal intervention - Birthing balls - Rocking chairs - Squat bars - Mirrors upon request - Baby-friendly protocols - Delayed cord clamping - Skin to skin immediately after delivery and for the first "golden hour" of your baby's life
