We’re proud to share that Dr. Howard Grossman, Chief Medical Officer at Spectrum Medical Care Center, has been named to Becker’s Healthcare’s Chief Medical Officers to Know list.

Dr. Grossman has been a leader in HIV and LGBTQ+ healthcare for more than four decades, beginning on the frontlines of the AIDS epidemic in New York City. Today, he brings that same commitment, experience and urgency to Phoenix, guiding Spectrum Medical’s clinical strategy across primary care, HIV prevention and treatment, sexual health and gender-affirming care.

His recognition by Becker’s reflects not only his national impact, but also the important work happening here in Arizona to expand access to culturally competent, evidence-based care.

Our Story

Serving the LGBTQ+ Community and more, your health is our number one goal. We take care of a broad spectrum of medical needs ranging from HIV treatment and prevention with PrEP and PEP services. We can address routine physical examinations, PrEP/PEP Navigation with medical services up to complex medical problems. We want you to feel comfortable discussing your health in a friendly and caring environment. Dr. Vanig, Judy, Isabel, John and Cynthia all believe that the patients should fully participate in making medical decisions and treatment choices. We have navigators onsite to answer questions, work with copay assistance and patient assistance to make sure you can get and stay on your medication. We will always take time to listen to your concerns. All five of our providers co-mange/coordinate care for all of our patients, making it easier to have access to care no matter which provider is available. We will act as your personal coach and give you the best and most current medical information so you can achieve the best health and wellness.
