Your health is our number one goal. We take care of a broad spectrum of medical needs ranging from routine physical examinations to complex medical problems. We will act as your personal coach and give you the best and most current medical information so you can achieve the best health and wellness. In addition to the services the practice provides, the team provides additional outreach and referrals as needed to other LGBTQ+ healthcare providers in the Valley of the Sun. The practice welcomes the opportunity to care for new patients and accepts most major medical insurance plans, as well as offering affordable cash pay prices.

If you’re starting PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) for HIV prevention, you might be wondering how soon you’re protected. Here’s what you need to know:

PrEP reaches maximum protection in about 7 days of daily use.

Our work with the City of Phoenix Fast Track Cities initiative helps educate communities across the Valley about HIV treatment and prevention.
Within Hispanic communities, new HIV diagnoses continue to rise, making it critical to keep these conversations going and break down stigma.
We recently spoke with La Onda 99.5 FM / Noticias Enlace on behalf of Fast Track Cities to highlight World AIDS Day, HIV Awareness Month, and the collaborative efforts across Phoenix to reduce new infections.

Spectrum Medical Care Center is concerned about the recently passed Phoenix ordinance restricting medical care in public spaces.

For many people in our community, mobile and community-based outreach is their first and sometimes only connection to healthcare. Through our mobile outreach program, we serve thousands of individuals each year by providing accessible HIV and STI testing and prevention services, often in public spaces that are essential points of access.

These services are proven to prevent illness, reduce reliance on emergency care, and protect public health across Phoenix. Policies that limit where care can be provided risk cutting people off from the support they need.

We remain committed to meeting patients where they are and look forward to working with city leaders to find solutions that balance community concerns while ensuring lifesaving healthcare remains accessible to those who need it most.

Serving the LGBTQ+ Community and more, your health is our number one goal. We take care of a broad spectrum of medical needs ranging from HIV treatment and prevention with PrEP and PEP services. We can address routine physical examinations, PrEP/PEP Navigation with medical services up to complex medical problems. We want you to feel comfortable discussing your health in a friendly and caring environment. Dr. Vanig, Judy, Isabel, John and Cynthia all believe that the patients should fully participate in making medical decisions and treatment choices. We have navigators onsite to answer questions, work with copay assistance and patient assistance to make sure you can get and stay on your medication. We will always take time to listen to your concerns. All five of our providers co-mange/coordinate care for all of our patients, making it easier to have access to care no matter which provider is available. We will act as your personal coach and give you the best and most current medical information so you can achieve the best health and wellness.
