A few weekends ago my husband asked me if I wanted to do a relay race. I’m 41, I’ve never done a race. Ever. My husband, on the other hand, has participated in multiple mountain bike races. I asked what it required of me... trail run 2 miles, tag him for his 9.7 mile bike portion, then I finish by trail running 4. I am NOT a trail runner! But said yes. Today we did it! I wasn’t there to WIN, I was there to break the mental block I have about time. Goal #1 was to finish the first 2 miles in under 20, I did it! Goal #2 was to finish the 4 miles in under 50 mins, I did it! This was NOT EASY! There was some negative self talk that snuck in when I had to walk a bit 2 miles into the last run... I heard my coach say β€œwe don’t have to to this, we get to do this!” I pushed hard and finished with a HUGE smile on my face. I am so thankful for and my husband for pushing me past my mental limits... can’t wait till next time!

In June I set a few goals to begin running (if you knew me before June, running is something I would do ONLY if being chased 🀣). A couple weekends ago my girlfriends and I decided to do a 10k, yes, we walked it (I ran one the day before)... these two (and a few more) have been a super support system for me. I am forever grateful for the friendships I’ve made these past few years!

Tension... that seems to be palpable in today’s environment. I’m guilty of falling into the constant news cycle, slipping into negative thoughts more so than I’d like to admit. Times are stressful, uncertain and for empaths, we can FEEL EVERYTHING! Yesterday I watched a segment with two of my favorite people .johnston and . I was reminded how to stay present, grounded and how I need to regain control of MY environment. I need to be true to who I am and not get caught up in the craziness that is the world right now. I know ME. I am an empath, I am a medium, I am intuitive, I am a person that cares deeply for people and the planet, I am in control of my thoughts and how I choose to respond. Reconnection with nature is on the schedule this weekend.... looking forward to quiet and regaining my center πŸ’š.

My Story

First and foremost, thank you for "liking" my page. I created this space to help guide people to expand, learn and share all things mind, body & Spirit. I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, teacher, Reiki Master Teacher, Hypnotherapist and I have a few other tricks up my sleeve... I am here to help people live a happier, healthier more holistic life.

To make a (very) long story short my journey with Energy Healing, Hypnotherapy and overall, a more holistic driven lifestyle began as far back as I can remember. Since I was 6 years old I knew that I was different; yet I was unsure how to articulate it at such a young age.
