It’s no secret that physical activity is good for you, but did you know that it also helps children and adolescents succeed academically?

Physical activity provides many benefits, such as better cognitive control, increased self-esteem and self-efficacy, and improved emotional regulation. Not only that, it aids students in managing the challenges that they might experience, such as anxiety and sleep troubles. Lastly, it can provide positive social effects, such as improved ability to set goals, communicate, and work as a team!

A recent study, which analyzed cancer incidence and the physical activity habits of nearly 600,000 Americans found that about 3% of common cancers in the US are strongly linked to inactivity.
