Dear Patients, Friends, and Community,
As I sit here at the end of my final day in the office, it’s hard to put into words what I’m feeling.
After more than three decades of caring for this community, Tuesday marks my last day practicing as a chiropractor.
This is not just the closing of a chapter—it’s the closing of a life’s work that has meant more to me than I could ever fully express.
Each of you has been a part of that journey.
You trusted me with your health, your families, and your stories. You allowed me to be present in moments of pain, healing, progress, and growth. That is something I have never taken lightly.
I have always believed that chiropractic care is about more than adjustments—it’s about relationships, consistency, and helping people live better, fuller lives. And through all these years, it has been an absolute privilege to walk alongside you in that process.
Some of you have been with me for decades. Some of you I met more recently. But all of you have left an impression on me.
I will deeply miss the daily conversations, the shared laughs, and the opportunity to make a difference in your lives.
As I step into retirement, I do so with a full heart and immense gratitude.
I am also incredibly confident in the future of the practice under Dr. Zach Erickson. He shares the same commitment to principled, patient-centered care, and I know you will be in excellent hands moving forward.
While I may be stepping away from practice, the relationships and memories built here will stay with me forever.
Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for your loyalty.
Thank you for allowing me to do what I love for so many years.
It has truly been the honor of a lifetime.
With sincere gratitude and warmest wishes for your continued health,
Dr. Paul van Berkel
