If your baby wakes at night, you are not doing anything wrong. Breastfed or bottle fed. Solids or no solids. Night waking is biologically normal and protective.

These middle of the night moments are doing important work. We are their safe place, their warmth, their regulation. This is such a short season, even when it feels long at 3 am. You are not creating bad habits. You are meeting real needs

In our last post, we emphasized how night time feeds matter.
Daytime and nightime feeds aren’t just about comfort—they count toward your baby’s total intake. Here’s a perfect visual that builds on that.

Some feeds are small and frequent, while others are larger and spaced further apart. This is why some babies may start to take in more during certain feeds, which can lead to longer stretches between them… especially overnight.

This is how breastfeeding works to get you more feeds, and more sleep!
