How inspiring💞
As corny as it may sound, one of the most important things you MUST do when attempting to dramatically change your health is BELIEVING that you can do it. 💪
If you struggle with this bit, surround yourself with people that believe in you and who are actively working on their own mindset.
If you’re new to my page, let me introduce myself:
I’m Joan MacDonald’s
I started my journey at 69 years old
I am 5’3”
I was 198.8 lbs when I started.
My waist was 39”
I was only eating about 1100 lbs per day, but it was very irregular and sometimes I would eat a whole bowl of peanuts while on my computer at night 🙊
I worked out occasionally in the gym,
I had gained and lost hundreds of pounds over my adult life
I had a hysterectomy at 46 years old
I have arthritis
Kidney disease
I was on blood pressure medication and my doctor was about to increase it
I didn’t have a smart phone and didn’t know what apps were!
I’m now 77, with a 28” waist #, weighing around 130 lbs, and I’ve been in fighting shape for 6 years now. ❤️
I can deadlift 175 lbs, ride a bike for an hour comfortably, and I now own an iPad, smart phone, and use lots and lots of apps! 🎉🎉
Im here to tell you that if an ordinary retiree like me can completely transform her health and her life, then you can too.
🙏
