IAS Laboratories provides programs for crop production that enable the grower to more efficiently manage mineral nutrients of the crop. More efficient
management of mineral nutrients is achieved by identifying nutrient deficiency, sufficiency or surplus of eleven essential mineral nutrients and sodium before
planting and at key stages in the growth of the crop.

General information

Recommendations based on chemical analyses of irrigation water, pre-plant soil analyses and periodic sampling of plant tissue are provided by IAS laboratories to the grower. High priority is given to samples of IAS Crop Programs, so chemical analyses and recommendations are provided to the grower within 24 hours from receipt of the samples at the laboratory. These timely and thorough recommendations enable the grower to avoid applying unneeded nutrients, resulting in cost savings, and they enable the grower to achieve higher yields by eliminating nutrient deficiencies, some of which are “hidden hunger” that impede growth but are not visible.
