The holiday season is upon us, and our Giving Tree is ready to spread some joy! 🎁

This year, our residents have each written down three special wishes. Little things that would make their holidays brighter.

If you’d like to share in the spirit of giving, stop by Hawthorn Court at Ahwatukee and choose a tag from our tree. Each tag lists a resident’s wishes, you can fulfill one, two, or all three! Every gift, big or small, brings a smile and reminds our residents that they’re loved and remembered this season. ❤️

Let’s come together to make this holiday one to remember! 🎅🎁

Honoring Our Heroes at Hawthorn Court!

Today, our community came together to celebrate Veterans Day and honor the brave men and women who have served our country. We were proud to host a touching Veterans Ceremony led by Elizabeth from Aegis Home Health & Hospice, who presented certificates and pins to each of our veterans in recognition of their service and sacrifice.

Elizabeth also created special certificates for the loved ones of our veterans, honoring their support and strength with a beautiful rose, a heartfelt reminder that their sacrifices matter too.

We were also joined by the Boy Scouts from Troop 878, who shared handmade cards with our veterans and their families, bringing smiles and gratitude all around.

To all who have served and to the families who stand beside them; we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 💙❤️

And a HUGE shoutout to Elizabeth from Aegis Home Health & HospiceAegis Home Health & Hospice and Boy Scout Troop 878, today couldn't have been possible without you!

We began our Veterans Day celebration with a special performance by Juke Box Dave, who filled the room with classic tunes and heartfelt songs honoring our veterans.

Dave shared stories and fun facts about our heroes while singing their songs, creating a truly special start to a day dedicated to remembrance, gratitude, and celebration.

Thank you, Juke Box Dave, for helping us honor the incredible veterans who call Hawthorn Court home!

🎄It’s that wonderful time of year again! 🎄

Our Annual Giving Tree at Hawthorn Court is just around the corner! The tree will be going up next week, and we’ve already started making our special Angels that will soon fill its branches.

Each Angel represents a resident with 3 gift wishes, and with your help, we can make the season a little brighter for them!

The laughter and playful smack talk were nonstop!
Every time someone scored, the competitive spirit really came out! 😄 It was such a fun time filled with energy, smiles, and great moments together. Can’t wait for the next match!

It’s National Caregivers Month!

To kick off this special celebration, our residents created heartfelt thank-you cards to show their appreciation for all of our dedicated caregivers. We’re excited to see what the rest of the month has in store as we continue to honor and celebrate the incredible individuals who provide compassionate care every day.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest Winners!

A huge thank-you to everyone who participated in our pumpkin decorating contest and to everyone who voted! The creativity this year was amazing!

Annual Pumpkin Contest!

Our team went all out this year creating some amazing pumpkins for our Annual Pumpkin Contest! A huge shoutout to all our talented staff for their creativity and hard work! These pumpkins are truly works of art!

Voting was open to all of our tricks and treaters from Sunday’s event. Voting officially closes today, 10/30, so get those last-minute votes in!

We can’t wait to see which pumpkins take the top spots!

Step by Step, We’re on the Move!

At Hawthorn Court, we love staying active and enjoying the beautiful Arizona fall weather! Our residents walk twice a day around our lovely community, soaking in the sunshine and fresh air.

Every Wednesday, we make it extra special with a picnic in the park. Complete with a peaceful stroll along the walking path, great company, and plenty of laughter.

Happy National Cat Day!

At Hawthorn Court, our residents have big hearts for animals. From the tiniest kittens to the most majestic pets! Whether it’s the joy of a visiting therapy animal or stories shared about beloved pets from years past, animals always bring smiles and comfort to our community.
