After a long hiatus, Eric is excited to be heading back to Africa!!

Dear friends and family, I am embarking on a medical mission to Malawi, where poverty is rampant and medical care is extremely scarce. As a Physical Therapist, my role is to treat, educate, and provide whatever equipment I can bring for orthopedic issues. This allows our Doctors and Nurses to spend more time addressing the life changing/threatening conditions common to this region. Your donations are tax-deductible and will support my work. Ahwatukee Physical Therapy is a well- established, family-owned physical therapy clinic. We are hiring for a part time biller. Some medical billing experience required. This has the option to be a work-from-home position. Flexible days and hours.

Duties include but not limited to:

Working denials
Checking insurance benefits
Authorizations
Light collections

We are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, problem solve and possess good computer skills.
Pay will depend on experience ranging from $17-$20 with the possibility for advancement based on performance.

Physical Therapy Job Description:
-Direct care of patients
-Supervision of assistive personnel
-Maintain confidentiality of all patient related information consistent with HIPAA policies
-Facilitate professional development by completing appropriate continuing education and related learning opportunities
-Utilize appropriate safety and infection control standards
-Evaluate patients per current physical therapy standards and Physician orders
-Timely completion and communication of involved documentation
-Observe American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice

Skill Set and Licensure - not limited to the following:
-Strong organizational and interpersonal skills dealing with a diverse range of people.
